Crestron SFP-1G-LX Single-Mode 1310 nm SFP Module for DM-NVX

It is an SFP transceiver module that adds fibre optic network connectivity to a DM NVX series encoder/decoder. It is the 1000BASE-LX10 version for duplex single-mode fibre at 1310 nm, with a dual LC connector and a listed reach of 10 km (6.2 mi).

It needs single-mode fibre per ITU-T Rec. G.652, in a duplex run with two fibres on LC connectors. Crestron lists the maximum distance as 10 km (6.2 mi). For multimode fibre, Crestron lists the SFP-1G-SX instead, which works at 850 nm.

The SFP-1G-LX uses two single-mode fibres with a dual LC connector (802.3z 1000BASE-LX10). The SFP-1G-BX-U and SFP-1G-BX-D use one single-mode fibre with a single LC connector (802.3ah 1000BASE-BX10) and must be used as an uplink and downlink pair. All three are listed at 10 km (6.2 mi).

Crestron designed the SFP-1G series for DigitalMedia NVX series network AV encoder/decoder boxes and cards. The modules provide 1000BASE-X Gigabit Ethernet over fibre, and a selection of them covers various multimode and single-mode fibre types.

Yes. Crestron lists the SFP-1G modules as hot-swappable to minimise downtime. The SFP-1G-LX is shown in blue in Crestron's module table, the same colour as the SFP-1G-BX-U, so check the part number and connector type when identifying a module.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the SFP-1G-LX on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the SFP-1G-LX develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
