About the Crestron CEN-SWPOE-30
The 24 PoE+ ports (IEEE 802.3at Type 2) supply up to 30 W each, with 480 W available in total, and two more Gigabit ports are without PoE. Four 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports take transceiver modules for connection to a fibre network. The switch fabric is 132 Gbps non-blocking, with up to 16K MAC addresses.
Its Lite Layer 3 package provides IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping with IGMP querier and automated IGMP between switches, IEEE 1588 PTPv2, VLANs, QoS and ACLs, static and dynamic routing (RIP, PIM-SM, PIM-DM), and DOT1X, MAB, DHCP snooping and dynamic ARP inspection. It is managed through a web GUI, CLI, SSH or SNMP, with an out-of-band port, RJ-45 console and LLDP support.
The fan-cooled black metal chassis is 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep and mounts in a 1U 19-inch rack space with reversible rack ears, or stands freely. Which AV and multicast features does the CEN-SWPOE-30 support?
It has selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles, IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping, IGMP querier, automated IGMP between switches and control packet flooding, plus IEEE 1588 PTPv2 and LLDP. Management is through a web GUI, CLI, SSH or SNMP, with an out-of-band service port.
How is the switch mounted?
It can stand freely or mount in a 1U 19-inch rack space using its reversible rack ears. The black metal chassis is fan cooled with vented sides and measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep. Power, fan and PoE MAX LEDs are repeated on the front and rear panels.
