Crestron CEN-SWPOE-5AC 5-Port Unmanaged Gigabit PoE Switch

It is a 5-port unmanaged Gigabit Ethernet switch with PoE on four ports. It sends power and data to Crestron touch screens, gateways and other PoE devices over one CAT5/6 cable, so each device does not need its own power supply. It also supports lighting control for room-to-room communication.

Ports 1 and 2 are PoE+ outputs rated at 30 W maximum each. Ports 3 and 4 are PoE outputs rated at 15.4 W each. The fifth port is the Gigabit uplink to the rest of the network. Green LEDs show when a powered device is connected to ports 1 to 4.

No, it is an unmanaged switch. Its ports auto-negotiate and use auto MDI/MDIX, all five support 100BASE-TX and 1000BASE-T, and traffic is handled by store-and-forward switching. It meets IEEE 802.3, 802.3u, 802.3ab, 802.3x and 802.3af/at.

It is powered from AC mains, with an input range of 100-277VAC at 50/60 Hz. Maximum input current is 2 A at 115VAC or 1 A at 277VAC. Heat dissipation is 10 BTU per hour and the operating range is 0 to 40°C.

The metal chassis has two integral mounting flanges. It can be freestanding, surface mounted on a wall or ceiling, fitted in a ceiling wall box or DIN 49073 box, mounted on DIN rail, or attached to a single rack rail. It measures 120 x 187 x 47 mm and weighs 850 g.
