Crestron CEN-SWPOE-48 48 Port PoE+ Managed Switch with 10G SFP+

It is a 48 port NETGEAR AV managed switch for Crestron AV-over-IP systems, with 40 Gigabit Ethernet ports that all support PoE+ and eight 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports. It offers Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switching and selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles.

All 40 Ethernet ports support PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Type 2) at up to 30 W per port, with 960 W available in total. At maximum PoE the switch consumes 1197 W, compared with 89.2 W without PoE and 74.5 W in standby.

It has eight 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports, which accept transceiver modules for connection to a fibre network. Together with the 40 Gigabit copper ports, traffic runs over a 240 Gbps non-blocking switch fabric, with up to 16K MAC addresses.

The Lite Layer 3 package includes IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping, IGMP querier, automated IGMP between switches, IEEE 1588 PTPv2, VLANs, QoS and routing, with DOT1X and DHCP snooping security. It is managed by web GUI, CLI, SSH or SNMP, with out-of-band management, and supports LLDP.

It fits a 1U 19-inch rack space using its reversible rack ears, or it can stand freely. The fan-cooled black metal chassis measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep, with a rocker power switch and a recessed reset button.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-SWPOE-48 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-SWPOE-48 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
