Crestron CEN-SWPOE-30-ULTRA 30 Port Ultra PoE Managed Switch

It is a 30 port NETGEAR AV managed switch for Crestron AV-over-IP systems, with 24 PoE++ ports (IEEE 802.3bt Type 4) supplying up to 90 W each, two further Gigabit ports and four 1 Gigabit SFP ports. It supports Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching and DM NVX and DM NAX profiles.

Each of the 24 PoE++ ports can supply up to 90 W, with a maximum combined output of 1440 W. Crestron quotes maximum PoE consumption of 889 W with a single AC connection and 1734 W with dual AC connections, so check how the two power inputs will be fed.

The ULTRA model provides PoE++ (802.3bt Type 4) at up to 90 W per port and 1440 W maximum, with four 1 Gigabit SFP ports and two AC power connectors. The CEN-SWPOE-30 provides PoE+ at up to 30 W per port and 480 W total, with four 10 Gigabit SFP+ ports.

It includes the Lite Layer 3 package with IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping, IGMP querier, IEEE 1588 PTPv2, VLANs, QoS and ACLs, static and dynamic routing, and DOT1X, MAB, DHCP snooping, dynamic ARP inspection and IP source guard. Management is by web GUI, CLI, SSH or SNMP, and LLDP is supported.

It can stand freely or fit a 1U 19-inch rack space using its reversible rack ears. The black metal chassis is fan cooled with vented sides and measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep, and it has a rocker power switch and a recessed reset button.
