About the Crestron PSU-MIDSPAN-USB-1-C

The kit saves ordering the injector and cables separately. The injector sits between the host and the USB-C device, passing USB 3.2 data at up to 10 Gbps and USB 2.0 at up to 480 Mbps, and supporting DisplayPort 1.4 Alternative Mode. In mixed mode, DisplayPort video and USB 3.2 data are available together, with video up to 4K30; full DP Alt Mode reaches 5120x2160 at 30 Hz or 5120x1440 at 60 Hz.

No configuration or programming is required. A push button on the unit closes a normally open contact on a 2-pin terminal block, which can be used to trigger a control processor. There is also a USB 2.0 Type-A service port for firmware updates, a recessed reset button and a two-colour power LED. Power comes from the included PW-2460DU power pack, rated 100 to 240 VAC in and 24 VDC at 6 A out.

The injector has a black metal chassis measuring 25 mm high, 112 mm wide and 146 mm deep, and weighs 0.4 kg. It can stand freely, mount on a wall or table surface with the included bracket, or attach to a Crestron FlipTop cable enclosure. If you already have suitable cables, the PSU-MIDSPAN-USB-1 injector is also available on its own.
