About the Crestron PSU-MIDSPAN-USB-1

The injector sits between the host and the USB-C device. Data passes through at up to 10 Gbps (USB 3.2 Gen2) or 480 Mbps (USB 2.0), and DisplayPort 1.4 Alternative Mode video is supported. In mixed mode, DisplayPort video and USB 3.2 data run at the same time, with video up to 4K30; in full DP Alt Mode, resolutions reach 5120x2160 at 30 Hz or 5120x1440 at 60 Hz.

A push button on the unit closes a normally open contact on a 2-pin terminal block, which can be used to signal a control processor. A USB 2.0 Type-A service port handles firmware updates, and a two-colour LED shows power status. The injector runs from the included PW-2460DU power pack (100 to 240 VAC in, 24 VDC 6 A out) and is TAA compliant for government deployments.

The black metal chassis is 25 mm high, 112 mm wide and 146 mm deep and weighs 400 g. It can stand freely, be surface mounted on a wall or table with the included bracket, or attach to a Crestron FlipTop cable enclosure. USB-C cables are not included: use the CBL-USB3G2-C-C-3 or CBL-USB3G1-C-C-6, or order the PSU-MIDSPAN-USB-1-C KIT, which includes both.
