Crestron HD-RXC-4KZ-101 DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI Receiver

It is a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 receiver. Working with a DM Essentials transmitter or DMPS Essentials switcher, it receives HDMI, RS-232 and IR signals over a CAT5e or higher cable and delivers them at the far end, with support for HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3.

Up to 40 m (130 ft) for UHD and 4K signals, or up to 70 m (230 ft) for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K signals. The link needs a CAT5e or higher twisted pair cable; Crestron names its DM-CBL-8G and DM-CBL-ULTRA cables, which are sold separately.

Its DM Essentials input connects to the output of a DM Essentials transmitter or DMPS Essentials switcher. Crestron lists it as a supported receiver for transmitters such as the HD-TX-4KZ-201 and HD-TX-4KZ-421-CHGR, and the HD-PS401 presentation system can send CEC, IR or RS-232 display control through it without a control system.

Yes. RS-232 passes in both directions at up to 115.2k baud (TD/RD only) between its 3-pin COM port and the COM port on the transmitter. IR passes bidirectionally at up to 60 kHz through a 4-pin IR IN/OUT terminal block, and CEC and EDID are passed through as well.

It comes with a PW-2420RU power pack that takes 100 to 240 VAC and supplies 24 VDC. The black metal chassis includes two mounting brackets and can be freestanding, surface mounted or attached to a single rack rail. It measures 105 mm high, 106 mm wide and 27 mm deep.
