About the Crestron HD-TX-4KZ-421-CHGR
The HDMI inputs accept DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources, and the USB-C inputs use DisplayPort Alt Mode. Video reaches 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, with HDCP 2.3, EDID and CEC passed through. Range is up to 40 m (130 ft) for UHD and 4K or up to 70 m (230 ft) for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K.
Crestron names the HD-RXC-4KZ-101 and HD-RXCA-4KZ-101 as examples of supported receivers. The transmitter can be configured and controlled only with a DMPS Essentials switcher, which hosts its web configuration, control system programming and .AV Framework support. Switching among the four inputs can follow the last connected input or a routing priority, and an AUTO button turns automatic switching on or off.
The two USB-C inputs are labelled 60W USB INPUT 3-4, and the transmitter comes with a PW-2475DU power pack rated at 24 VDC and 7.5 A. A USB 2.0 SERVICE port handles firmware and configuration or hosts one TT-100 series cable caddy. The black metal chassis measures 30 mm high, 216 mm wide and 133 mm deep, with two brackets for freestanding, surface or single rack rail mounting.
