Crestron HD-TX-4KZ-201 4K60 HDMI Transmitter and 2x1 Auto-Switcher

It is a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 transmitter and 2x1 auto-switcher for HDMI. It accepts two HDMI sources, switches between them and sends the selected one over a CAT5e or higher cable to a DM Essentials receiver or DMPS Essentials switcher, with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.3 support.

Its DM Essentials output must be connected to a DM Essentials input on a DM Essentials receiver or DMPS Essentials switcher. Crestron gives the HD-RXC-4KZ-101 and HD-RXCA-4KZ-101 as examples of supported 4K60 4:4:4 receivers.

No. It can be configured and controlled only when it is used with a DMPS Essentials switcher. The switcher's web interface is used to configure it, and control system programming and .AV Framework support for the transmitter are hosted by the switcher.

The two HDMI inputs can switch automatically, and an AUTO button on the unit enables or disables this, with manual selection buttons for each input. When the transmitter is used with a DMPS Essentials switcher, switching can be set to follow the last connected input or a routing priority.

It comes with a PW-2420RU power pack (100 to 240 VAC in, 24 VDC 2.5 A out). When it is paired with an HD-RX-4K-210-C-E, the transmitter cannot provide power to the receiver, so power must be connected to the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E only.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the HD-TX-4KZ-201 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
