Crestron HD-DA2-4KZ 1:2 HDMI Distribution Amplifier, 4K60 HDR

It is a 1:2 HDMI distribution amplifier. It takes one HDMI source and splits it to two separate outputs, so the same picture and sound can feed two displays, switchers or other devices. It supports 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR video with high-bitrate 7.1 audio.

No. The HD-DA2-4KZ-E works without programming or a control system. HDCP handling is set with a three-position slide switch (off, 1.4 or 2.2), a SETUP button restores factory settings, and LEDs show video presence at the input and at each output.

HDCP is switchable between 2.2, 1.4 and off, and encrypted content is blanked when HDCP is off. EDID runs in DEFAULT mode, with a factory EDID of 4K60 4:4:4 non-HDR video and 2-channel LPCM audio, or in COPY 1ST mode. Custom EDIDs load from a USB flash drive. CEC is not passed.

It runs from the included PW-2407WU power pack (100 to 240 VAC in, 24 VDC 0.75 A out) and typically uses 4.3 W. The black metal chassis has two integral mounting flanges for freestanding, surface or single rack rail mounting, and it measures 22 mm high, 146 mm wide and 119 mm deep.

Crestron points to two larger models. The HD-DA4-4KZ-E splits one HDMI source to four outputs and the HD-DA8-4KZ-E splits it to eight, both with 4K60 4:4:4, HDR and high-bitrate 7.1 audio support and the same PW-2407WU power pack.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the HD-DA2-4KZ on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the HD-DA2-4KZ develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
