Crestron USB-EXT-3S-REMOTE-1G USB 3.2 Extender Wall Plate, Remote

It is the device endpoint of Crestron's USB-EXT-3S USB 3.2 extender, built as a wall plate for a 1-gang electrical box. It has three USB Type-A ports and one USB Type-C port, and links to a USB-EXT-3S Local endpoint over one CAT6a or CAT7 cable, up to 100 m (330 ft).

It connects up to four USB devices at one location, such as cameras, video capture devices, flash drives and keyboards. The extender can be expanded with USB hubs, which are not included. Crestron allocates 25 W of power to the four USB devices.

It mounts in an unobstructed 1-gang electrical box, which is not included, with a minimum mounting depth of 89 mm (3.5 in). The plate measures 106 mm high, 45 mm wide and 60 mm deep, weighs 235 g and comes with detachable black and white face plates.

No. The PW-2030DUL power pack is sold separately. It takes 100 to 240 VAC and delivers 3.0 A at 20 VDC to the plate's 2-pin DC connector. The plate can also receive power over the LINK connection, and total consumption is 31.28 W across both endpoints.

Yes. It has a bidirectional RS-232 port on a 4-pin 3.5 mm terminal block, running at up to 115.2k baud, with the fourth pin not used. Serial data from a control system travels over the LINK connection between the two USB-EXT-3S endpoints.
