Crestron SFP-10G-SR SFP+ Multimode 850 nm Module for DMF and DMCF

It is an SFP+ transceiver module for Crestron DMF series DigitalMedia SFP+ 4K Fiber transmitters and receivers and DMCF series transmitter and receiver cards. This version is for duplex multimode fibre at 850 nm, with a dual LC connector.

Crestron lists 1000 ft (300 m) using OM3 multimode fibre and 1300 ft (400 m) using OM4. For longer runs, the SFP-10G-BX-U and SFP-10G-BX-D single-mode modules are listed at 6.2 miles (10 km), using a single LC connection.

It is designed for DMF series DigitalMedia SFP+ 4K Fiber transmitters and receivers and DMCF series transmitter and receiver cards. SFP-10G modules are normally sold in a kit with one DMF or DMCF device, and are also sold separately for replacement in the field.

Crestron lists different modules for that. For retrofit applications where CresFiber 8G multimode fibre is already in place, the SFP-10G-S-U and SFP-10G-S-D are the listed options. They use a single SC connection via an included LC-to-SC patch cord and adapter, and reach 650 ft (200 m).

Yes. Crestron lists the SFP-10G modules as hot-swappable to minimise downtime. The SFP-10G-SR is also sold individually, so a failed module can be replaced in the field, and Crestron's module table lists its colour as beige.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the SFP-10G-SR on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the SFP-10G-SR develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
