Crestron DM-TX-4KZ-302-C 4K60 HDR DM 8G+ Transmitter with Switcher

It is a DigitalMedia 8G+ transmitter and 3x1 switcher for 4K HDMI and DisplayPort sources, supporting 4K60 4:4:4 and HDR. It sends the selected source to a DM switcher or receiver over one CATx cable, and provides a local HDMI output plus IR, RS-232, Ethernet and USB HID ports.

It has two HDMI inputs and one DisplayPort input feeding a built-in 3x1 switcher. The HDMI inputs support HDR10, Deep Color, 3D and 4K60 4:4:4 and are DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort compatible, while the DisplayPort input supports Deep Color and 4K60 4:4:4. Switching is manual or automatic.

On DM Ultra cable it supports runs of up to 100 m (330 ft) for all resolutions up to UHD and 4K. On DM 8G cable or CAT5e it reaches 100 m for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K, and for UHD and 4K it reaches 70 m on DM 8G cable or 50 m on CAT5e.

It can be powered over the DM link by a PoDM+ power sourcing device or over HDBaseT PoE+, both IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 (25.5 W), or by the optional PW-2412WU power pack. Typical consumption is 12.6 W on the power pack and 13.4 W on PoDM+ or HDBaseT PoE+, with no USB powered device connected.

Yes. Alongside the DM 8G+ and HDBaseT output, it has a local HDMI output (DVI compatible) with HDR10, Deep Color, 3D and 4K60 4:4:4 support. Copy protection is HDCP 2.2, and QuickSwitch HD technology manages the HDCP keys when switching between sources.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-TX-4KZ-302-C on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
