About the Crestron DM-RMC-4KZ-SCALER-C

The built-in scaler handles up to 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR10 and Deep Color, using motion-adaptive deinterlacing and intelligent frame rate conversion, and overscan or underscan can be adjusted by up to 7.5%. Both the DM 8G+ input and the HDMI input accept HDR10, Deep Color and 4K60 4:4:4, and custom resolutions may be supported at pixel clock rates up to 600 MHz. Content is protected by HDCP 2.2.

As an audio extractor, it de-embeds stereo 2-channel audio to a stereo analogue line level output, alongside HDMI audio with formats such as Dolby TrueHD, Dolby Atmos and DTS-HD Master Audio. The DM 8G+ input links to the DM 8G+ output of a DM switcher or transmitter and is compatible with the HDBaseT standard. At 1080p, runs of up to 100 m are supported on DM Ultra cable, DM 8G cable or CAT5e.

Power is PoDM+ over the DM link or HDBaseT PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4, 25.5 W), or the optional PW-2412WU power pack, and consumption is 18.2 W. The unit also has IR, RS-232, Ethernet and relay ports. Its black metal chassis has two integral mounting flanges for freestanding, surface or single rack rail mounting and measures 233 mm high, 136 mm wide and 34 mm deep.
