About the Crestron DM-NVX-E20-2G

The DM-NVX-E20-2G has one HDMI input, compatible with DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources, and a 3.5 mm unbalanced stereo line level audio input for embedding analogue audio. It is designed to feed DM-NVX-D20 and DM-NVX-D200 decoders or other DM NVX products that can act as decoders. Common resolutions include 4K at 30 Hz 4:4:4, 4K at 60 Hz 4:2:0 and 1080p60 at 4:4:4 12 bit.

The bit rate can be fixed, also called constant bit rate, anywhere from 200 to 950 Mbps, or adaptive, where the encoder sets a fixed rate based on the input resolution. Line-synchronised outputs keep content in step across multiple displays, for example in digital signage, and variable multicast TTL lets streams cross multiple network routers. AES67 audio can be embedded and de-embedded alongside multichannel audio up to HBR 7.1.

Power is PoE (IEEE 802.3af Type 1 Class 3) from an 802.3af compliant switch or PSE, or the optional PW-2407WUL power pack, with 9.2 W typical consumption. Crestron specifies a 2-gang electrical box 51 mm deep or a plaster ring, plus an FP-G2-DM Series decorator style faceplate sold separately, so check the back box when adding a new location. The unit is 105 mm high, 91 mm wide and 55 mm deep.
