Crestron DM-NVX-384 5K 4x1 AV over IP Switcher with HDMI and USB-C

It is a DM NVX AV over IP endpoint with a built-in 4x1 input switcher for two HDMI and two USB-C sources. It can be configured as an encoder or a decoder and carries up to 5K video, including Ultra-Wide and Super-Wide formats, over standard Gigabit Ethernet with HDCP 2.3.

In encoder mode the two HDMI and two USB-C inputs form a 4x1 switcher, and in decoder mode it switches 5x1. Inputs can be selected automatically in auto-switching mode, by a control system or through the web interface, with breakaway audio and Crestron QuickSwitch HD technology.

eARC on the HDMI output lets audio be taken from the connected display and sent over the network as a multichannel BTS audio over IP stream, with a single cable to the display. The secondary HDMI input supports eARC as an audio output, passing a multichannel audio over IP stream to a connected AVR.

It is powered by PoE++ (IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 Class 6, 60 W) from a PoE++ compliant Ethernet switch or a third-party IEEE 802.3bt compliant PSE. The PW-2420RU power pack, which supplies 24 VDC and is sold separately, is the alternative. Typical consumption is 35 W.

Both are 5K 4x1 AV over IP switchers with two HDMI and two USB-C inputs, eARC, AES67 and PoE++ power, and both measure 209 mm by 209 mm by 31 mm. The DM-NVX-385 adds surround sound to stereo downmixing; the DM-NVX-384 supports surround sound but does not list downmixing.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-NVX-384 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-NVX-384 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
