Crestron DM-NAX-XSP 8K Smart Display Controller with DM NAX and eARC

It is a DM NAX 8K smart display controller and network audio encoder and decoder with eARC support. It passes an HDMI source through to the display, sends and receives DM NAX and AES67 audio on the network, and controls connected devices over CEC, RS-232, IR and relays.

The HDMI input and pass-through output handle up to 8K60 4:2:0, 8K30 4:4:4 12-bit and 4K120 4:4:4 12-bit, with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Deep Color. The unit is HDCP 2.3 compliant and manages EDID.

Multichannel audio passes through on HDMI, with Dolby formats up to Dolby Atmos and eARC on the connection to the display. On the network it sends a 2-channel downmix as DM NAX or AES67 and can receive DM NAX and AES67 audio, interoperating with Dante devices through AES67.

It is powered by PoE+ on its Ethernet 1 port, compliant with IEEE 802.3at Type 2 Class 4 (25.5 W). Crestron lists it as compatible with the DM-PSU-ULTRA-MIDSPAN, a PoE+ compliant Ethernet switch or third-party PoE+ equipment. Maximum power consumption is 14 W.

Its compact form factor allows it to be mounted behind a display, or it can be attached to a single rack rail with the included hardware. The black metal chassis has vented sides and measures 128 mm high, 213 mm wide and 29 mm deep.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-NAX-XSP on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-NAX-XSP develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
