About the Crestron DM-NAX-2XLRI-1G
The two XLR inputs accept line or microphone level signals, with up to 60 dB of gain at mic level and ±10 dB source compensation per input. Built-in processing includes EQ (with EQ, high pass, low pass, treble shelf, bass shelf and notch filter types) and left/right balance, and source signal detection shows when audio is present. Crestron quotes a signal to noise ratio of 105 dB from the analogue inputs.
Audio from the inputs is carried over the network as DM NAX or AES67 streams, so it can be routed to DM NAX and DM NVX devices on a managed network. On the rear there is also a balanced stereo line-level output on a 5-pin terminal block, which can feed a Crestron media wall plate such as the MP-WP-2XLRO-1G or MP-WP-2RCAO-1G. Configuration is through a web interface, and SIMPL Windows programming integrates it with a Crestron system.
The plate is powered by PoE (IEEE 802.3af Class 0) and uses 2.9 W. It fits a 1-gang electrical box or plaster ring (not included), with an 89 mm (3.5 in) box depth recommended, or it can be mounted on a rack rail with the included hardware. The metal chassis has a black and silver finish and measures 105 mm high, 44 mm wide and 55 mm deep.
