About the Crestron DM-EXT-2022

The kit contains the HD-TXU-4KZ-211-CHGR transmitter and the HD-RXU-4KZ-202 receiver. The transmitter has a 60W USB-C input that takes DisplayPort Alt Mode video with USB 2.0 data and can also charge a connected AV device, plus an HDMI input with an associated USB-C device port for sources that need USB 2.0. The receiver adds a further HDMI input and provides two HDMI outputs.

Across the system, three inputs (two at the transmitter and one at the receiver) switch to two outputs at the receiver, automatically or manually. Video is supported up to 4K60 with 4:4:4 colour sampling at 8 bit, with HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Deep Color. HDCP 2.3 and EDID are managed and CEC is supported. Extension distance is up to 40 m (130 ft) for UHD and 4K, or 70 m (230 ft) for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K.

For system integration there is a LAN port for configuration and management, a built-in web interface for setup and monitoring, enterprise-grade security, compatibility with Crestron 3-Series control systems or later, and .AV Framework support. USB 2.0 is extended at up to 300 Mbps, with two USB Type-A host ports on the transmitter. Power packs are included: the PW-2475DU for the transmitter and the PW-2420RU. The black metal chassis has two mounting flanges for surface or rack rail mounting.
