Crestron DM-EXT-1021-1G 4K 2x1 Auto-Switcher and Wall Plate Extender

The kit contains an HD-TXC-4KZ-101-1G 1-gang wall plate transmitter, an HD-RX-4K-210-C-E surface-mountable receiver and a PW-2412WU power pack. Together they switch between two HDMI sources, scale the picture with a 4K scaler and extend video, audio and power over one CATx cable.

The difference is the colour of the wall plate transmitter's front overlay: the -B kit is black and the -W kit is white. Both kits have the same 2x1 switching, 4K scaling receiver, power pack and extension distances, so choose the colour that suits the room.

The PW-2412WU power pack is included with the receiver and powers both units, because power is extended over the CATx cable along with video and audio. No separate power pack is included for the wall plate transmitter. Typical power consumption is 14.8 W.

The HD-TXC-4KZ-101-1G mounts in a 1-gang or larger electrical box, or a plaster ring, 57 mm (2.25 in) deep. The box or ring is not included. It has a metal housing and bracket with a black or white polycarbonate front overlay. When replacing a wall plate, check the existing box against this requirement.

Over CAT5e or higher cable it reaches up to 70 m (230 ft) for resolutions up to 2K, or up to 40 m (130 ft) for higher resolutions up to 4K. It handles 4K60 with 4:2:0 colour sampling and 1080p60 at 4:4:4, with EDID and HDCP 2.2 management.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-EXT-1021-1G on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DM-EXT-1021-1G develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
