About the Crestron DM-EXT-1021
The kit contains the HD-TXC-4KZ-101 transmitter and the HD-RX-4K-210-C-E receiver. One HDMI source connects to the transmitter and a second to the HDMI input on the receiver, which switches between them automatically or manually, with audio following video. The receiver's 4K scaler then feeds the display through its HDMI output. Video, audio and power all travel over one CAT5e or higher twisted pair cable.
Cable runs can reach 70 m (230 ft) for resolutions up to 2K, or 40 m (130 ft) for higher resolutions up to 4K. Video is supported up to 4K60 with 4:2:0 colour sampling, and 1080p60 at 4:4:4. EDID and HDCP 2.2 are managed and CEC is supported. Stereo audio can be de-embedded to an analogue line-level output, with independent mute for the HDMI and analogue outputs.
For control there are IR, RS-232, relay and I/O ports, and 100/1000 Ethernet with web browser setup. Two power packs are included, the PW-2420RU and PW-2412WU, and either one will power both the transmitter and the receiver. Typical consumption is 14.8 W. The metal chassis has a black finish and two mounting flanges for surface or rack rail mounting.
