Crestron CEN-SWSFP-28 28 Port SFP+ Managed Switch with PSU Slot

It is a 28 port managed switch from the NETGEAR AV range, with 24 SFP+ ports and four SFP28 ports that take transceiver modules for multimode or single-mode fibre. It offers Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching, a 680 Gbps non-blocking fabric and selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles.

Ports 1 to 16 are SFP+ and run at 1 Gbps or 10 Gbps. Ports 17 to 24 are SFP+ at 10 Gbps only. Ports 25 to 28 are SFP28 at 25 Gbps. Each port has a green LED that shows an active connection, and there is a separate RJ45 out-of-band port for management.

It has one 100-240V power connector and one slot for a modular power supply unit. The slot takes the CEN-SWSFP-PWS350, sold separately, which can be set up to provide a redundant power connection if the primary circuit or supply fails. Consumption is 119.3 W with full mesh traffic and 45.2 W in standby.

Yes. It has selectable DM NVX AV-over-IP and DM NAX Audio-over-IP profiles, plus IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping, an IGMP querier, VLANs, IEEE 1588 PTPv2 and LLDP. It can be managed through a web browser interface, CLI, SSH or SNMP.

It can be freestanding or mounted in 1U of a 19-inch rack using reversible rack ears. The black metal chassis is fan-cooled with vented sides and measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep. LEDs show power, fan, stack master status and the stack ID.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-SWSFP-28 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-SWSFP-28 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
