Crestron CEN-SWPOE-ULTRA-12 12 Port Ultra PoE Managed Switch

It is a 12 port managed Ethernet switch from the NETGEAR AV range, designed to make Crestron AV-over-IP products easier to integrate. It has eight Gigabit ports with PoE++, two Gigabit ports without PoE and two 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports, with Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switching.

Ports 1 to 8 support PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Type 3 and can supply up to 90 W per port, with 720 W in total across the switch. Crestron lists power consumption at maximum PoE as 837.7 W. Ports 9 and 10 carry data only.

Yes. The switch has selectable DM NVX and DM NAX AV-over-IP profiles. It also includes IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping with an IGMP querier, VLANs, IEEE 1588 PTPv2 and LLDP support as part of its Lite Layer 3 feature package.

Ports 11 and 12 are 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports. They accept transceiver modules so the switch can connect to a fibre network. Each has a green LED that shows an active connection, and the LED is repeated on the front and rear panels.

It can be freestanding or mounted in 1U of a 19-inch rack using reversible rack ears. The fan-cooled metal chassis measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 257 mm deep. Power, fan and PoE MAX LEDs are repeated on the front and rear panels, and a recessed button handles reboot or factory reset.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-SWPOE-ULTRA-12 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-SWPOE-ULTRA-12 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
