Crestron CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA 52 Port Ultra PoE Managed Switch

It is a 52 port managed Ethernet switch from the NETGEAR AV range, designed to make Crestron AV-over-IP products easier to integrate. It has 44 2.5 Gigabit and four 10 Gigabit Ethernet ports, all with PoE++, plus four 25 Gigabit Base-X SFP28 ports. It offers Layer 2 and Layer 3 switching with selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles.

It runs on its internal supply through one 100-240V power connector, and has two slots for modular power supply units sold separately. The maximum combined PoE output of 3314 W applies with modular supplies fitted. Crestron lists consumption at maximum PoE as 351.5 W on the internal supply and 3857.5 W with the maximum modular supplies connected.

Its two PSU slots take the CEN-SWSFP-PWS350, rated at up to 350 W, or the CEN-SWPOE-PWS2000-ULTRA, rated at up to 2000 W. Both are sold separately. These modules expand the switch's PoE budget and can be set up to give a redundant power connection if the main circuit or supply fails.

Ports 1 to 44 are 2.5 Gigabit RJ45, ports 45 to 48 are 10 Gigabit/Multi-Gigabit RJ45, and ports 49 to 52 are 25 Gigabit Base-X SFP28 for transceiver modules. All 48 RJ45 ports are PoE outputs supporting IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, and the switch fabric is 500 Gbps non-blocking.

It can be freestanding or mounted in 1U of a 19-inch rack using reversible rack ears. The black metal chassis is fan-cooled with vented sides and measures 43.2 mm high, 440 mm wide and 400 mm deep. LEDs show power, fan and PoE MAX status, plus stack master status and the stack ID.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-SWPOE-52-ULTRA develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
