Crestron CEN-SWPOE-48-ULTRA 48 Port Ultra PoE Managed Switch

It is a 48 port managed Ethernet switch from the NETGEAR AV range, designed to make Crestron AV-over-IP products easier to integrate. It has 40 Gigabit Ethernet ports with PoE++ and eight 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports, with Layer 2 and Layer 3 managed switching and selectable DM NVX and DM NAX profiles.

Its 40 RJ45 ports support PoE++ to IEEE 802.3bt Type 4, with up to 90 W per port and a maximum combined output of 2880 W. Crestron lists power consumption at maximum PoE as 912 W on a single AC connection, 1998 W on two and 3523 W on three.

Ports 41 to 48 are 10 Gigabit Base-X SFP+ ports. They accept transceiver modules so the switch can connect to a fibre network. Each SFP+ port has a green LED that shows an active connection, repeated on the front and rear panels.

Yes. It has selectable DM NVX AV-over-IP and DM NAX Audio-over-IP profiles. It also supports IGMPv3 and MLDv2 snooping, an IGMP querier, IEEE 1588 PTPv2, LLDP and several VLAN types, and it can be managed through the IT web GUI, CLI, SSH or SNMP.

It can be freestanding or mounted in 2U of a 19-inch rack using its reversible rack ears. The fan-cooled metal chassis measures 86.4 mm high, 440 mm wide and 350 mm deep. It has three 100-240V power connectors, a rocker switch for main power and a recessed reset button.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-SWPOE-48-ULTRA on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-SWPOE-48-ULTRA develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
