Crestron CEN-IO-DIGIN-104 Wired Ethernet Module with 4 Digital Inputs

It adds four digital inputs to a Crestron control system over wired Ethernet. The inputs accept 0 to 24 VDC referenced to ground, and the module reports over the local network so connected equipment can be monitored remotely from a computer or tablet. It is powered by PoE.

It takes its power from the LAN cable as an IEEE 802.3at Type 1 (802.3af compatible) Class 0 PoE powered device and uses 1.8 W. A PWE-4803RU PoE injector or a Crestron PoE switch such as the CEN-SW-POE-5 can supply it, so no local power supply is needed.

Both add four digital inputs in the same IFE micro enclosure. The CEN-IO-DIGIN-104 connects by wired Ethernet and is powered by PoE, while the CEN-IO-DIGIN-204 connects over Wi-Fi to a wireless access point and runs from an included 5 VDC power pack.

The four digital inputs are referenced to ground and have an input voltage range of 0 to 24 VDC. They connect through a single 5-pin 3.5 mm detachable terminal block, and their status is passed to the control system over the network.

The IFE micro enclosure can stand freely, stack with other CEN-IO and IFE compliant devices, or attach to a flat surface or 35 mm DIN rail with the included bracket, taking 8 DIN module spaces (144 mm). It measures 34 x 128 x 73 mm and weighs 180 g.
