Crestron CP4 4-Series Control System with Onboard Control Ports

It is a 4-Series control system: a rack-mountable control processor with a 4-Series control engine and numerous integrated control ports. It is designed to integrate and automate technology in networked homes, commercial buildings and government facilities, and supports app, XPanel and web based control.

The CP4 is the standard 4-Series control system for custom programmed and commercial systems. The CP4-R is the version with the Crestron Home operating system built in, set up with the Crestron Home Setup app instead of a custom programme, and it has its own page in our Crestron shop.

It has eight IR/serial outputs, COM 1 for RS-232/422/485, COM 2 and 3 for RS-232, eight normally open isolated relays rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC, eight Versiport I/O ports, a Cresnet master port, a gigabit Ethernet LAN port, a rear USB 2.0 host port and an SD card slot.

It comes with the PW-2420RU power pack, which takes 100-240 VAC and outputs 2.5 A at 24 VDC. It can instead be powered from Cresnet, but only one source should be connected. The processor draws 15 W, not including connected Cresnet devices, and the NET port powers Cresnet devices only when the power pack is connected.

It is 1 RU high and can be freestanding or mounted in a 19-inch rack; adhesive feet and rack ears are included. It measures 44 mm high without feet, 439 mm wide (483 mm with rack ears) and 167 mm deep, in a black aluminium chassis.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CP4 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CP4 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
