Crestron CP4N 4-Series Control System with Control Subnet

It is a 4-Series control system with an isolated control subnet. It is a rack-mountable control processor with a 4-Series control engine and numerous integrated control ports, and its control subnet port provides a Gigabit Ethernet LAN dedicated to Crestron devices.

The CONTROL SUBNET port is a separate RJ-45 Ethernet port running at 100/1000 Mbps. It provides a dedicated local network for Crestron devices, with a DHCP server, DNS server and port forwarding, so those devices sit on their own isolated LAN rather than the main network.

It has eight IR/serial outputs, COM 1 for RS-232/422/485, COM 2 and 3 for RS-232, eight normally open isolated relays rated 1A at 30VAC/VDC, eight Versiport I/O ports, a Cresnet primary port, LAN and control subnet Ethernet ports, a rear USB 2.0 host port and an SD card slot.

It comes with the PW-2420RU power pack, which takes 100-240VAC and outputs 2.5A at 24VDC. It can be powered from Cresnet instead, but only one source should be connected. The processor draws 15 W, not including connected Cresnet devices, and the NET port powers Cresnet devices only when the power pack is connected.

The CP4N is 1 RU high and can be freestanding or fitted in a 19-inch rack; adhesive feet and rack ears are included. It measures 44 mm high without feet, 439 mm wide (483 mm with rack ears) and 167 mm deep, in a black aluminium chassis.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CP4N on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CP4N develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
