About the Crestron DIN-AP4

The 4-Series control engine runs on an embedded multicore CPU with 1 GB of DDR3 SDRAM and 8 GB of flash memory, and uses a modular programming architecture. Control is available from iPhone, iPad and Android apps, XPanel on a computer and web based control. Crestron Fusion room monitoring and scheduling, XiO Cloud provisioning and management, and enterprise-class network security and authentication are supported.

Onboard ports include two COM ports for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 up to 115.2k baud, four IR/serial outputs, eight Versiport I/O ports, four isolated relays rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC and 100 Mbps Ethernet. Two paralleled Cresnet master ports support approximately 20 typical Cresnet devices. There is also a USB 2.0 host port for storage devices up to 1 TB and a memory card slot for cards up to 32 GB.

Power comes from PoE (IEEE 802.3at Type 1, 802.3af compatible, Class 0) or a 24 VDC power pack such as the PW-2407WUL, sold separately. Consumption is 9.7 W, not counting connected Cresnet devices. The unit measures 91 mm high, 161 mm wide and 58 mm deep. Two versions are listed, the standard DIN-AP4 and the DIN-AP4-R for Crestron Home OS, so match the part number when replacing a processor.

Does the DIN-AP4 come with a warranty?

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-AP4 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
