Crestron RMC4 Compact 4-Series Control System, PoE Powered

It is a compact 4-Series control system in the IFE micro form factor. It provides control and monitoring for a single display device, a small AV system, lighting and shading, climate control, security, energy management and other specialised applications, and it is powered over the network by PoE.

It is a PoE powered device: IEEE 802.3at Type 1, 802.3af compatible, Class 0 (12.95 W), and it consumes 6.5 W. Power arrives through the 100BASE-T LAN PoE port. The Cresnet NET port provides data only, so the RMC4 does not supply power to Cresnet devices.

It has one bidirectional COM port for RS-232, RS-422 or RS-485 up to 115.2k baud, two IR/serial outputs for 1-way control, two digital inputs rated 0 to 24 VDC, two normally open isolated relays rated 1 A at 30 VAC/VDC, a Cresnet master port and Ethernet.

Yes. Crestron lists control port expansion modules, Ethernet to Cresnet bridges, wired Ethernet I/O extenders and Wi-Fi network I/O extenders as ways to expand its connectivity. These are all sold separately, and the right one depends on the devices being controlled.

The RMC4 can be freestanding, stacked, surface mounted or fitted to a 35 mm DIN EN 60715 rail, where it occupies 8 DIN module spaces (144 mm). It measures 1.35 in. (35 mm) high, 5.04 in. (128 mm) wide and 2.86 in. (73 mm) deep, in a black and blue plastic enclosure.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the RMC4 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the RMC4 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
