About the Crestron HD-TXU-4KZ-111-2G

The USB-C input uses DisplayPort Alt Mode for video and audio and carries USB 2.0 data at up to 300 Mbps. Video runs at up to 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision, and HDCP 2.3, CEC and EDID pass through. Two USB 2.0 Type-A host ports accept mice, keyboards and other USB 2.0 peripherals. LEDs show power, USB input and link status, and a reset button restores factory defaults.

The transmitter is designed to pair with a DM Essentials HD-RXU-4KZ Series receiver, with its DM OUT port connected to the receiver's DM Essentials input over CAT5e or higher cable. Runs reach up to 40 m (130 ft) for UHD and 4K, or 70 m (230 ft) for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K. A surface-mountable receiver can power it over the link.

The plate mounts in a 2-gang (or larger) electrical box or plaster ring 51 mm (2 in) deep; the box is not included and the faceplate is sold separately. With a wall plate receiver, the transmitter needs the PW-2407WUL 24 VDC power pack (sold separately) on its 2-pin terminal block. It measures 105 mm high, 91 mm wide and 43 mm deep and comes in black (-B) or white (-W).
