About the Crestron HD-TX-4KZ-211-2G

The output must connect to a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 receiver, a DM Essentials 4K60 4:2:0 receiver or a DMPS Essentials switcher. The USB-C input uses DisplayPort Alt Mode, and the HDMI input accepts DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources. Range is up to 40 m (130 ft) for UHD and 4K or 70 m (230 ft) for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K, with HDCP 2.3 and CEC pass-through.

Configuration and control are available only with a DMPS Essentials switcher, whose web interface sets up the transmitter and which hosts its control system programming and .AV Framework support. Switching between the HDMI and USB-C inputs can follow the last connected input or a routing priority. On the plate, an AUTO button enables or disables automatic switching and a LINK LED confirms the connection.

The transmitter mounts in a 2-gang (or larger) electrical box or plaster ring 51 mm (2 in) deep, which is not included, and measures 105 mm high, 91 mm wide and 42 mm deep. A PW-2407WUL power pack, sold separately, is required only when it is paired with a wall plate receiver. Choose HD-TX-4KZ-211-2G-B for black or HD-TX-4KZ-211-2G-W for white.
