Crestron HD-RXU-4KZ-101-2G 4K60 HDMI and USB Wall Plate Receiver

It is a black 2-gang wall plate receiver for DM Essentials. It works with an HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter to extend HDMI and USB 2.0 over CAT5e or higher cable, outputting 4K60 4:4:4 HDMI with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and providing two USB 2.0 host ports.

Yes. It needs a decorator style faceplate from the FP-G2-DM Series, which is sold separately. The receiver mounts into a 2-gang (or larger) electrical box or plaster ring with a depth of 51 mm (2 in), which is not included.

It can receive power from the remote DM Essentials transmitter, provided that transmitter is a surface-mountable model. When the receiver is used with a wall plate transmitter, a PW-2407WUL power pack is required; it is sold separately and connects to the receiver's 2-pin terminal block.

Both receive HDMI and USB 2.0 from an HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter. The HD-RXU-4KZ-101-E is a surface-mountable box that also passes Ethernet and comes with a PW-2420RU power pack, while this model is a black 2-gang wall plate for HDMI and USB 2.0 that needs a separate faceplate.

Its two USB 2.0 Type-A host ports accept USB mice, keyboards and other USB 2.0 peripherals, and the USB data is carried over the DM Essentials link at up to 300 Mbps. The distance limits are 40 m for UHD and 4K and 70 m for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K.
