Crestron HD-RXU-4KZ-101 DM Essentials 4K60 HDMI and USB Receiver

It is a DM Essentials 4K60 4:4:4 receiver for HDMI, USB 2.0 and Ethernet. Paired with an HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter over a CAT5e or higher cable, it outputs HDMI with HDR10, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision and provides two USB 2.0 host ports and a LAN port at the far end.

The HD-RXU-4KZ-101-E is designed to interoperate with a DM Essentials HD-TXU-4KZ Series transmitter. Its DM Essentials input must be connected to the DM Essentials output of that transmitter for the HDMI, USB 2.0 and Ethernet extension to work.

Two USB 2.0 host ports accept USB mice, keyboards and other USB 2.0 peripherals, and USB 2.0 data travels over the DM Essentials link at up to 300 Mbps. The separate SERVICE port is for firmware loading and configuration, or can host one TT-100 series cable caddy, sold separately.

The receiver's 100/1000 Mbps LAN port receives an Ethernet signal sent over the DM Essentials connection from the transmitter. The LAN port at one end can be connected to an Ethernet network, while the LAN port at the other end can be connected directly to a device.

It comes with a PW-2420RU power pack and can also receive power from the remote transmitter. The black metal chassis, with two mounting brackets, can be freestanding, fixed to a surface such as a wall behind a flat-panel display or a ceiling above a projector, or attached to a single rack rail.
