Crestron HD-EARC KIT 4K60 HDMI and eARC Extender over CATx

The kit contains the HD-TXC-EARC transmitter and the HD-RXC-EARC receiver. Together they extend HDMI video and audio, eARC or optical digital audio, RS-232 and IR point to point over a CAT5e or higher cable, and the transmitter comes with a PW-2420RU power pack.

Up to 100 m (330 ft) for resolutions up to 2K, or up to 70 m (230 ft) for higher resolutions up to 4K, over a CAT5e or higher cable. Video, audio and power are all carried over that one cable between the transmitter and receiver.

The receiver's HDMI connection to the display supports eARC, covering all Dolby formats up to Dolby Atmos and all DTS formats up to DTS:X. The returned audio travels back over the cable and leaves the transmitter through its HDMI IN/EARC OUT port. Optical audio can be returned instead, via the receiver's optical input and the transmitter's optical output.

It supports up to 4K60 with 4:4:4 colour sampling, plus HDR10, HDR10+, Dolby Vision and Deep Color. At 4K60, 4:4:4 is carried at 8 bit and 4:2:2 at 12 bit. The kit is HDCP 2.3 compliant, and the transmitter input accepts DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources.

Yes. The kit passes 2-way RS-232 up to 115.2k baud with hardware and software handshaking, 1-way IR up to 60 kHz, EDID and CEC. The transmitter has an IR input for a Crestron IR control port or other IR source, and an IR output for an IRP2 emitter, sold separately.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the HD-EARC on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the HD-EARC develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. If you are not sure it suits your system, send us the part numbers you already have and we will check.
