About the Crestron DMPS3-4K-250-C
The 8x2 matrix takes HDMI sources on inputs 1 to 6 (DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort compatible) and a DM 8G+ or HDBaseT source on input 7, with Crestron QuickSwitch HD technology. Output 1 is HDMI with a 4K video scaler, and output 2 is DM 8G+ and HDBaseT. It handles 4K/60 video with HDCP 2.2, and the onboard streaming decoder receives H.264 or MJPEG at up to 1080p and 25 Mbps.
Audio processing includes a 6-channel microphone mixer, audio DSP and a built-in amplifier rated at 25 W per channel into 8 ohms stereo or 50 W mono at 70 or 100 V. A built-in AirMedia gateway, which requires a licence, allows wireless presentation of Full HD content at up to 30 fps from computers and mobile devices. With .AV Framework technology it works as a presentation system with simplified configuration, and no programming is required.
It also acts as a power source: each DM input and output port supplies up to 30 W as a PoDM+ or HDBaseT PoE+ PSE, and the control subnet port supplies up to 15.4 W of PoE. Control options include RS-232, IR/serial, Cresnet master mode and USB routing via select DM transmitters and receivers. Typical consumption is 75 W. The fan-cooled chassis is 133 mm high without feet, 439 mm wide and 400 mm deep, with rack ears included.
