Crestron DM-TX-4KZ-100-C-1G 4K60 HDR DM 8G+ Wall Plate Transmitter

It is a 1-gang DigitalMedia 8G+ wall plate transmitter for a single HD or 4K source. It takes HDMI at up to 4K60 4:4:4 with HDR10 and sends it to the DM 8G+ input of a DM switcher or receiver over one CATx cable, with IR and RS-232 control ports.

Crestron lists the DM-TX-4KZ-100-C-1G-B-T in black and the DM-TX-4KZ-100-C-1G-W-T in white. Both are the same 4K60 4:4:4 HDR wall plate transmitter, and neither includes a faceplate, so the faceplate is chosen separately to suit the room.

Using DM Ultra cable, it reaches up to 100 m (330 ft) for resolutions up to UHD and 4K. With DM 8G cable or CAT5e it reaches 100 m for 1080p, WUXGA and 2K, while UHD and 4K run up to 70 m on DM 8G cable or up to 50 m on CAT5e.

It can be powered over the DM link from a PoDM source or over HDBaseT PoE, both IEEE 802.3at Type 1 Class 3 (12.95 W), or from the optional PW-2407WUL 24 VDC power pack. Typical consumption is 5.43 W on PoDM or HDBaseT PoE, and a green LED shows operating power.

Yes. The HDMI input and the DM 8G+ output both support HDR10, Deep Color, 3D and 4K60 4:4:4, with HDCP 2.2. The input is also compatible with DVI and Dual-Mode DisplayPort sources, and maximum resolutions include 3840x2160 at 60 Hz 4:4:4 with 24 bit colour depth.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DM-TX-4KZ-100-C-1G on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
