Crestron DIN-EN-6X18-HC-5OPEN DIN Rail Enclosure, 5 Cover Openings

It is a UL listed DIN rail enclosure with six 18M wide rails, a hinged black cover with five openings and a fire enclosure. It provides a centralised mounting solution for DIN-THSTAT thermostats and other DIN rail modules, which are sold separately, while keeping them accessible through the cover.

Its five cover openings give access for up to ten DIN modules that are 9M wide. Blank cover plates in 3M and 9M widths are supplied, so any openings that are not populated can be covered.

The enclosure includes a fire enclosure that separates Class 1 and Class 2 device installation and wiring. This allows both types of device to be housed in the same DIN rail enclosure while being kept apart from each other.

Yes. It can be surface or flush mounted on a wall, although Crestron notes that custom framing may be required for flush mounting. It measures 989 mm high, 366 mm wide and 113 mm deep and weighs 14.21 kg.

The cover is 16-gauge galvanised steel with a black powder coat finish designed to match the DIN-THSTAT thermostat. It is hinged for easy access to the equipment wiring and is secured with the included screws. Raised DIN rails leave room for additional wiring behind them.
