About the Crestron DIN-THSTAT

Because it mounts on a DIN rail, the DIN-THSTAT can be installed in an equipment cabinet, which keeps the living area free of a wall-mounted thermostat. Small remote sensors in the room, sold separately, supply the temperature and humidity readings. It can measure indoor temperatures from 0 to 43°C and humidity from 0 to 100% RH, with a tolerance of ±0.5°C and ±5% RH.

It works as part of a complete Crestron automation system, sold separately, and connects to the control system over Cresnet, which also powers it at 24 VDC with a consumption of 3 W. A backlit 46 mm RGB LCD, a 5-way navigation pad and HOME and BACK buttons on the front panel are used for setup, testing and local temperature and humidity adjustments.

Its HVAC connections include compressor stages Y1, Y2 and Y3, a fan relay (G), and O and B terminals that are active in cool and non-cool modes respectively, with a relay rating of 1 A at 24 VAC or 30 VDC. Setpoints run from 3 to 37°C in auto mode, 3 to 32°C for heating and 15 to 37°C for cooling. The unit occupies 9 DIN module spaces (162 mm) and measures 94 mm high, 161 mm wide and 60 mm deep.
