Crestron CL-SPACEBUILDER-CAEN-FT SpaceBuilder Feed-Through Panel

It is a SpaceBuilder lighting control system supplied as a configured feed-through panel. It controls up to 32 lighting zones with dimming and multizone switching, and is aimed at spaces where distributed or wireless controls are not appropriate, such as auditoriums, warehouses, sports venues and large car parks.

It supports 2-wire forward phase, 2-wire universal phase and 4-wire 0-10 V dimming, plus multizone switching, and Crestron states that it handles all analogue dimming loads. The GL-CAEN-2DIM8 KIT, for example, feeds four 1,920 W (15 A) zones from two 20 A inputs.

The panel uses either a CAEN-4X1 enclosure, which holds up to 4 modules, or a CAEN-7X1, which holds up to 7. Crestron lists heights of 972 mm and 1,575 mm, both 365 mm wide and 102 mm deep, in a NEMA 1 metal enclosure suitable for plenum air-handling spaces.

Yes. It scales through a DIN-CENCN-2-POE Ethernet uplink that communicates with an external control system. The panel itself uses a DIN-AP4 control system processor and a DIN-PWS60 power supply, and emergency or life safety zones can be configured.

No. Crestron notes that this feed-through cabinet does not have over-current protection. It runs at 120 or 277 VAC, assembled cabinets are UL508 Listed, and the operating range is 0 to 40°C at 10% to 90% relative humidity.

Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.
