Crestron CEN-IO-RY-104 Wired Ethernet Module with 4 Relay Ports

It adds four relay ports to a Crestron control system over wired Ethernet. The relays are normally open and isolated, rated 1 A at 30 V AC/DC with MOV arc suppression. The module is powered by PoE, and connected equipment can be controlled remotely from a computer or tablet.

Each of the four relays is normally open and isolated, rated 1 A at 30 V AC/DC, with MOV arc suppression. All four connect through a single 8-pin 3.5 mm detachable terminal block. Check that the equipment being switched falls within that rating.

It draws 3.1 W as an IEEE 802.3at Type 1 (802.3af compatible) Class 0 PoE powered device, taking its power from the LAN cable. A PWE-4803RU PoE injector or a Crestron PoE switch such as the CEN-SW-POE-5 or CEN-SWPOE-16 can supply it, so no local power supply is needed.

Both have four normally open, isolated relays rated 1 A at 30 V AC/DC, in the same IFE micro enclosure. The CEN-IO-RY-104 connects by wired Ethernet and is powered by PoE, while the CEN-IO-RY-204 connects over Wi-Fi to a wireless access point and runs from an included 5 VDC power pack.

The IFE micro enclosure can stand freely, stack with other CEN-IO and IFE compliant devices, or attach to a flat surface or 35 mm DIN rail with the included bracket, where it takes 8 DIN module spaces (144 mm). Rack mount and pole mount options are also available.
