Crestron CEN-IO-IR-204 Wi-Fi I/O Extender with 4 IR/Serial Ports

It is a compact Wi-Fi network I/O extender that adds four IR/1-way serial ports to a Crestron control system. Each port can control a device by infrared at up to 1.2 MHz or by serial TTL/RS-232 at up to 115.2k baud, and the extender runs from an included 5 VDC power pack.

Crestron specifies an 802.11a/b/g/n wireless access point and an Ethernet-enabled Crestron control system. The extender works on 2.4 or 5 GHz, can memorise up to five access points and has a range of up to 50 feet (15 m), subject to site conditions.

It comes with a PW-0510WUL power pack that accepts 100 to 240 VAC at 50/60 Hz and delivers 5 VDC at 1.2 A to a 2-pin terminal block. Typical consumption is 1.1 W. For PoE power over a network cable, the wired CEN-IO-IR-104 is the alternative.

The black and blue IFE micro enclosure, 34 mm high, 128 mm wide and 73 mm deep, can stand freely, be stacked, or fix to a flat surface or 35 mm DIN rail using the included bracket, taking 8 DIN module spaces (144 mm). Rack and pole mount options are available.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CEN-IO-IR-204 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CEN-IO-IR-204 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
