Crestron CAEN-2X1 Automation Enclosure, 2 Modules High x 1 Wide

It is a CAEN Series automation enclosure, 2 modules high by 1 module wide, for housing Crestron CLX Series lighting control modules and Crestron control systems. It can be surface or flush wall mounted and is intended for 120 and 230 volt systems in residential and commercial applications.

Crestron lists it as 2 modules high by 1 module wide, one of six sizes in the CAEN range. For the same single-module width, the CAEN-1X1 is 1 module high and the CAEN-4X1 is 4 modules high.

Crestron lists the CLX-DIN-AP3 3-Series control system and the PAC2M automation control system, and CAEN enclosures also house DIN-AP4 and DIN-AP4-R control systems. Mounting DIN 4-Series automation processors and Cresnet hubs requires a CAEN-UMP1X2-DIN-PWS. The enclosure is pre-drilled for CLX-DIN-AP3 and PAC2M systems.

It is built from 16-gauge galvanised steel, with grounding blocks, low-voltage partitions and provisions for wire termination and electrical knockouts. A vented front cover is included, and the system is convection cooled for silent and reliable operation.

Beyond lighting and control, a CAEN enclosure can carry structured voice and data wiring, security or RF signal distribution, where the applicable codes allow. The range also suits distributed designs, in which one PAC2M control system in a central enclosure serves many satellite extension enclosures.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CAEN-2X1 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CAEN-2X1 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
