Crestron CAEN-1X1 Automation Enclosure, 1 Module High x 1 Wide

It is a CAEN Series automation enclosure that is 1 module high by 1 module wide. CAEN enclosures house Crestron CLX Series lighting control modules and control systems such as the DIN-AP4, DIN-AP4-R, CLX-DIN-AP3 and PAC2M, and can be surface or flush wall mounted.

Crestron lists it as 1 module high by 1 module wide, one of six sizes in the CAEN range. For the same single-module width in a taller enclosure, the CAEN-2X1 is 2 modules high and the CAEN-4X1 is 4 modules high.

CAEN enclosures are designed for CLX Series lighting control modules and DIN-AP4, DIN-AP4-R, CLX-DIN-AP3 and PAC2M control systems, and are pre-drilled for CLX-DIN-AP3 and PAC2M systems, CLX Series modules and CLT Series terminal blocks. Mounting DIN 4-Series processors and Cresnet hubs requires a CAEN-UMP1X2-DIN-PWS.

Cooling is entirely by convection, as with other Crestron lighting and automation systems, which keeps operation silent and reliable. Every CAEN enclosure, the CAEN-1X1 included, has a vented front cover and a 16-gauge galvanised steel backbox with grounding blocks and low-voltage partitions.

Yes. The CAEN range suits centralised or distributed designs. In a distributed design, one PAC2M control system housed in a central enclosure can serve many satellite extension enclosures spread through a home or commercial building.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the CAEN-1X1 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the CAEN-1X1 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
