Crestron AM-3100-WF AirMedia Receiver 3100 with Wi-Fi Connectivity

It is the AirMedia Receiver 3100 with Wi-Fi network connectivity. It lets people present securely and wirelessly to a room display from laptops, smartphones, tablets and AirMedia Connect Adaptors, and supports wireless conferencing. The part number supplied on this page is the AM-3100-WF-I, the international version.

The receiver has USB 2.0 and USB 3.0 host connections for USB conferencing peripherals. Using the AirMedia Application on Windows 10 or Windows 11, people can join Microsoft Teams or Zoom meetings wirelessly and use those peripherals, so in-room and remote participants can collaborate.

It takes PoE+ (IEEE 802.3at Class 4) from the network, or 24 VDC at 1.25 A from the PW-2412WU power pack, which is sold separately and accepts 100 to 240 V AC, 50/60 Hz. Typical power consumption is 13.5 W.

The receiver has dual-band Wi-Fi 802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax on 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz. Crestron quotes a range of up to 30 m (100 ft) at 80 Mbps, subject to site-specific conditions. It also has 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet and Bluetooth 5.0.

Yes. The receiver accepts content from AirMedia Connect Adaptors at up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz (4K30). The AM-TX3-100 Connect Adaptor pairs with it wirelessly and, when paired, gives access to the conferencing peripherals connected to the receiver. Up to eight adaptors can be paired with one receiver. Crestron also offers it in kits with the AM-TX3-100 (AM3-111) or the AM-TX3-200 (AM3-121).

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the AM-3100-WF on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the AM-3100-WF develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
