About the Crestron AM-TX3-200

A personal device connects to the endpoint either by one USB-C cable, using DisplayPort Alt Mode for video and audio, or by HDMI plus a USB connection. Supported systems are Windows 10, Windows 11 and macOS 11 or newer, and no software or drivers are needed. Content is sent as a network stream to the paired receiver at up to 3840x2160 at 30 Hz, with the final resolution set by the receiver's HDMI output.

The link to the AirMedia receiver can use Wi-Fi Direct, infrastructure Wi-Fi or a wired network, using dual-band Wi-Fi 6 or its 100/1000 Mbps Ethernet connection. It also gives the presenter access to in-room conferencing peripherals. A supplied metal bracket allows mounting under a table, in a podium or in other locations, and LEDs show power, network links, video input, peripheral use and pairing status.

Power options are flexible: PoE (IEEE 802.3at Class 0 powered device), a 24 VDC power pack (PW-2420RU, sold separately) or the connected USB-C device. With DC power, the AUX PoE+ port can pass PoE+ (Class 4) through to a connected touch screen. Crestron lists power consumption of 4 W idle and 12.5 W in use on PoE, 2.5 W in use on USB and 45 W in use on DC power. The unit measures 30 mm high, 200 mm wide and 180 mm deep.
