Crestron ZUMMESH-JBOX-SIM Zūm J-Box Sensor Integration Module

It is the Zūm J-Box Sensor Integration Module. It is junction box mounted and enables hard-wired occupancy and daylight sensors to be used with a Zūm wireless commercial lighting system, supporting occupancy or vacancy sensing plus daylighting and pairing with Zūm dimmers, switches and load controllers over Zūm Mesh.

Crestron lists compatibility with its GLS-ODT-C-NS and GLS-OIR-C-NS occupancy sensors, the GLS-LOL open-loop daylight sensor, and STEINEL occupancy sensors and presence detectors. Check the model of any existing hard-wired sensor against this list before planning to connect it.

It pairs with Zūm dimmers, switches and load controllers over Zūm Mesh peer-to-peer RF using pair and play. Crestron states that setup and calibration are done with the press of a button, and refers to its Zūm Lighting Control System Setup Guide (Doc # 7957) for additional information.

Yes. The module accommodates a Zūm Network Bridge or a Zūm Contact Closure Output device. The Contact Closure Output (ZUMMESH-CCO) adds a low-voltage SPDT form C relay controlled by room occupancy, which can be used to integrate HVAC or other equipment.

It supports occupancy or vacancy sensing plus daylighting. Hard-wired occupancy sensors, such as the GLS-ODT-C-NS or GLS-OIR-C-NS, and an open-loop daylight sensor such as the GLS-LOL can be used, so the paired Zūm dimmers, switches and load controllers can respond to them.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the ZUMMESH-JBOX-SIM on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the ZUMMESH-JBOX-SIM develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
