Crestron DIN-1DIMU4 4 Channel Universal Dimmer, DIN Rail Mount

It is a 4 channel universal dimmer for DIN rail mounting, with one line feed. It dims both forward phase and reverse phase loads, detects the load type on each channel automatically and connects to a Crestron control system over Cresnet. It supports 120 V and 220 to 240 V lighting.

Each channel detects the dimmable load type connected to it and selects the matching mode. Reverse phase (trailing edge) mode is used for incandescent and electronic low-voltage loads, and forward phase (leading edge) mode for magnetic low-voltage, neon and similar loads. Front panel LEDs show which mode each channel is using.

Each channel is rated at 5 A: 600 W at 120 VAC, 1150 W at 230 VAC or 1200 W at 240 VAC. The module total is 10 A, which is 2300 W at 230 VAC. Minimum load is 15 W per channel for incandescent and 50 W for magnetic low-voltage or AC dimmable LED loads.

It has built-in short circuit and overcurrent protection, which prevents failure caused by excessive loading or improper wiring of the outputs. A primary air-gap relay opens when all four channels are fully off, isolating the controlled circuits so lamps can be serviced and changed safely.

It fits a 35 mm DIN EN 60715 rail in enclosures with a 45 mm front panel cutout and occupies 12 DIN module spaces (216 mm). Line, neutral, ground and dimmed outputs use captive screw terminals for up to 2.5 mm² wire, and Cresnet connects to paralleled 4-pin terminal blocks.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the DIN-1DIMU4 on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the DIN-1DIMU4 develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.
