Crestron SSC-102-EL-USB Engraved Ceiling Room Availability Sign Kit

It is a ceiling mount room availability hall sign kit. It contains the SSC-102-EL sign, supplied with custom engraving, and an ADPT-USB-USB-RA USB-C to USB-A adapter. The sign lights green or red to show whether a room is available and is clearly visible from up to 46 m (150 ft).

It connects by USB to TSW-70 and TSW-80 series touch screens used for room scheduling. Connecting to an 80 series panel requires the ADPT-USB-USB-RA adapter, which is included in this kit. The sign can also connect to a Crestron control system over Cresnet, where custom functions are possible.

It is powered through whichever connection is used. On USB power it uses 2.4 W at 5 V, and on Cresnet it uses 2.4 W at 24 VDC. A plenum-rated 15 ft (4.57 m) micro B male to A male USB cable comes with the sign.

It is a flush ceiling mount for plasterboard or drop-tile ceilings and is held by four integral swivelling dogs. The recommended cutout is 51 x 264 mm (2.0 x 10.4 in), and the sign projects 132 mm (5.18 in) from the mounting surface. It measures 169 mm high, 72 mm wide and 282 mm deep.

Each side of the two-sided acrylic face can carry one or two lines of text or a graphical icon, and the same design appears on both sides. Custom engraving is included in this kit. The grey acrylic face is replaceable, and the white plastic bezel is held on magnetically.

Yes. 1Install is an authorised Crestron Elite Partner with offices in Skerries, Co. Dublin and Cork. We can supply the SSC-102-EL-USB on its own, or install, set up and programme it as part of your system. Installation visits are €440 for 4 hours or €880 for a full day, plus VAT and travel.

Yes. Everything we supply is new, genuine Crestron with Crestron's standard warranty. If the SSC-102-EL-USB develops a fault, contact us and we will handle the claim with Crestron. If we installed it, our workmanship is guaranteed for the lifetime of the system.

We order Crestron for each quote, so availability depends on Crestron's stock at the time. We check it before we quote and put the expected delivery date on your quote, so you know where you stand before you pay.

Yes. We supply Crestron to end users, with or without installation. Like most Crestron devices of this type, it needs setting up or programming before it works in a system, and we can quote for that too.
